Mrs. Janet Braga
Hello, My name is Janet Braga and I have been teaching 4th grade at OJA for
7 years. I have a Master's Degree in counseling from Andrews University.
I am blessed with a wonderful family - my husband Eddie, our daughter, Mollie,
and our son, Casey.
Teaching precious children every year is truly a blessing. The virtues of responsibility
and accountability are stressed in 4th grade. Expectations for student behavior
and academic achievement are high and students are encouraged to meet these expectations.
The curriculum encompasses simple machines, plants, animal habitats, Florida history,
regions of the US, parables, stories of Jesus, to name a few. Reading from different genres,
and writing in a variety of formats are also part of the curriculum.
Praying and singing together in morning worship is a highlight. It is my daily prayer
that my students know more of who Jesus is as we learn and grow together.
